Simba is wounded, but leaps up a river dam to security, making a handful of logs fall on Kovu's brother Nuka, who tried to cease him from escaping and dies from his accidents. Kovu is blamed for his Loss of life, and Zira strikes Kovu along with her claws and offers him a scar above his eye that resembles Scar's. He then flees on the Delight Lands
